Math 109 — Mathematical Explorations
Course Schedule & Homework Assignments
Here is a link back to the course syllabus/policy page.
This schedule is will be changing very frequently, please check it at
least every class day, and before starting work on any assignment (in case the
content of the assignment has changed).
In the following all sections and page numbers refer to the required
course textbook, Excursions in Modern Mathematics (7th ed.),
by Peter Tannenbaum.
If you see the image
below, it means that class was videoed and you can get a link by e-mailing me.
Note that if you know ahead of time that you will miss a class, you should
tell me and I will be sure to video that day.

- Exam week, no classes.
- There is no special final exam review sheet, please simply look at the
reviews for midterm 1,
midterm 2, and
midterm 3. This will be a comprehensive final,
covering all parts of the course equally. Pretty much, you should think
of the final as all the midterms stuck together, in both content and format,
and then made shorter by a half.
- The exam takes place Wednesday, April 30th from 1-3:20pm in our
usual classroom.
